Australia beats USA to claim world championship 2005
AUSTRALIA has ended the U.S. domination of women's lacrosse with a resounding 14-7 win in the World Cup, the first time the Americans have lost the title since 1986. The final score was the biggest winning margin in the history of the event. Voted the worlds best female lacrosse player, Australias Jen Adams led the way in the breakthrough victory, grabbing 21 goals and 26 assists for the tournament. |
