Recently the Austrian Lacrosse Federation erected a display capturing and including items important to the development of lacrosse. The biggest lacrosse event in Austria to date is still the European Newcomers Championships 2003 where Denmark participated together with Italy, Finland, Spain, Latvia and Austria. A Danish flag pennant was recently signed by the players from this Danish national team and the pennant can now be viewed in the display in Vienna.
