A new era in Danish Lacrosse has begun.
At the Danish Lacrosse Federation's (DLF) annual general meeting, which took place on February 10, Martin Baadsgaard was elected new President of the DLF. Martin was among the "founders" of lacrosse in Denmark and besides years of lacrosse experience Martin also brings great organizational and leadership skills with him, which he has developed through his professional career working at various international companies. In Martin's own words he is "VERY excited and looking forward to the challenge of growing the number of players and clubs in Denmark while also strengthening the performance of the Danish national teams in future European- and World Championships".
Former President, Kristian Gotsch, expresses great enthusiasm about the election as well - "Martin knows lacrosse but more importantly he knows how to develop a sport AND also has the organizational knowledge and drive to take the DLF to a completely new level. The sport is growing fast worldwide and Danish lacrosse can and should grow just as fast - or faster. Martin is the right guy to take on such a challenge".
