DLL Champions 2009: Copenhagen Lacrosse
Sunday, 08 November 2009

Copenhagen Lacrosse secured the 2009 Danish Lacrosse League Championship in the final game of the season.

An overtime 3-6 loss to KFB Raiders in their previous game meant that Copenhagen Lacrosse had to beat Aarhus Lacrosse in the final game to win the title. With Aarhus down by just two goals at the end of third quarter, nothing was decided as fourth quarter was started, but Copenhagen managed to pull away, ending the game with a 7-2 victory.

In the second to last game of the season Aarhus beat Odense Lacrosse 11-2. This means that Aarhus just managed to steal the third spot away from Odense by virtue of better goal difference, leaving Odense in the fourth spot with KFB Raiders taking the second place, just two points after Copenhagen.
